Ruth has extensive experience in the training and development sector, where she worked as part of the management team at both High School and Tertiary level as an educator. Within her career at Tertiary level, she was responsible for Business Management and Human Resources. She developed and implemented a project within the college aimed and providing practical hands on experience for students in Business and Entrepreneurship. She successfully developed a networking strategy linking the college to companies.

She is passionate about community work where she serves with her husband. Her main interest and passion is in coaching. She is the Executive Director at ZIBA Investments (Pty)Ltd, a family business entity.

Ruth holds a Bachelors degree in Education (University of Forte Hare), Practitioner Certificate in ABET and a Cetificate in Management Development from Milpark College.
